Everything we do, and what each one involves
Four departments, in the order most households meet them. Nothing here is priced on a website, because what a mouth needs is not decided before we have looked at it.

Preventive Care
The appointments that keep the rest of this list short. Most of what we do is here.

- Professional teeth cleanings
- Scaling and polishing at the interval that suits your mouth, not a fixed calendar.
- Comprehensive examinations
- A full look at teeth, gums, bite and jaw, with digital X-rays taken only when they answer a question.
- Oral cancer screenings
- A soft-tissue check of the lips, tongue, palate and throat at your regular visit.
- Sealants
- A thin coating bonded into the pits and grooves of back teeth, where a brush cannot reach.
- Digital X-rays
- Lower-dose imaging that appears on the screen beside you rather than in a darkroom.
Restorative Dentistry
Rebuilding a tooth so it works again, and so it looks like it always did.

- Same-day crowns
- Designed, milled and fitted in the office, so a crown does not need a temporary and a second visit.
- Crowns and bridgework
- A cap over a damaged tooth, or a custom span that replaces a run of missing teeth.
- Fillings
- Restoring a drilled or decayed tooth. We will talk through the material before we place it.
- Dental implants
- A titanium post placed in the jaw to carry a replacement tooth that does not rest on its neighbours.
- Root canal treatment
- Clearing infection from inside the tooth so the tooth itself can stay where it is.
- Removable dentures
- Full or partial, fitted and adjusted until they sit and chew the way they should.
- Tooth extractions
- When a tooth cannot be saved, taken out with the plan for the gap agreed first.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Changing the colour, shape or alignment of teeth that are otherwise sound.

- Teeth whitening
- Professional whitening for teeth that have stained, dulled or discoloured over the years.
- Porcelain veneers
- Thin facings bonded to the front of teeth that are chipped, uneven or badly stained.
- Bonding
- Tooth-coloured composite shaped onto a chip or a gap in a single appointment.
- Invisalign® and orthodontic treatment
- Clear removable aligners that straighten teeth without fixed brackets and wires.
Gums, Jaw and Urgent Care
The problems that do not wait for a check-up.

- Periodontal (gum) disease therapy
- Deep cleaning and a maintenance interval for gums that bleed, recede or hold pockets.
- TMJ / TMD treatment
- For a jaw that clicks, locks or aches, and for the tooth wear that grinding leaves behind.
- Emergency dental treatment
- Call the office and tell us what happened. For a life-threatening injury, call 911 first.
Two things worth knowing before you book
Insurance
We work with many insurance carriers. Whether we are in network with yours depends on the plan, so tell us who covers you when you call and the front desk will check before your appointment rather than after it. Billing questions go to (913) 914-5240.
Emergencies
A cracked tooth, a lost crown, swelling or pain: ring the office on (913) 322-2222 and tell us what happened. An injury that threatens life or breathing is a 911 call first, and we will see you afterwards.
Ring the office, or send the form and we will ring you
A new patient appointment starts with a full examination, so we can see what is going on before we recommend anything. Bring your insurance card and a list of any medication.
